What Studio B. Is All About
Studio B. is a dance school that encourages and facilitates the physical and artistic growth within the disciplines of dance and movement for all ages that are inspired to be moved. We strive to live by the following principles:
PRIDE
We take pride in how we teach people to become better dancers and better humans. We are proud of you for stepping into the studio and want you to be proud of yourself and your progress.
PRESENCE
Dance is about having a confident presence. We encourage a positive and confident presence in the studio, on stage, and in the community.
PERFORMANCE
We encourage artistic growth through the opportunity to perform in the studio or on the stage. While it is an option to perform in front of an audience, performance gives the dancer an opportunity to face fears and gain confidence in themselves and as a team.
PHYSICAL
Dance is a great way to maintain a healthy body and mind while learning different styles of dance that encourage growth in physical and mental strength, agility, and artistry. We all know it is important to stay active throughout our lifetime. Studio B. is a great place to start good habits and stay active through dance.
“I don’t want people who want to dance, I want people who have to dance.”
— George Balanchine
